“Vagabond Varieties” Join the Vagabond Players for staged readings, improv, comedy, music, and lively theatre games. Included will be new material written by outstanding high school playwrights & a performance by Wits in Wisdom, an energetic Senior drama troupe. Get into the act with a sing-along and games.

Placemaking Workshop Placemaking is an approach to creating vital public spaces through direct community participation. In this workshop, participants will gain a firsthand understanding of the placemaking process as we work together to improve the Station North Arts & Entertainment District. This process may be duplicated in any neighborhood, including yours!

BALTIMORE CLASSICAL GUITAR SOCIETY
Guitar Master Classes Here’s a unique opportunity to learn from internationally renowned guitarists in master classes and Q&A sessions.
Troy King performs regularly across the United States, Europe and Latin America. He holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the University of Denver, as well has having done advance studies in England. Mr. King is on the faculty of Towson University. This class is the first BCGS workshop presented by Mr. King. Sun Oct 24 1pm - 4pm
Martha Masters, international performer, recording artist and General Manager and Executive Vice President of the Guitar Foundation of America. She has performed throughout the United States, Latin America and Europe. Ms. Masters holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the USC. "Try It" Hands-On Workshops & Body and Soul Exhibition Ceramic artists from around the country have been juried into this exciting exhibition and Baltimore Clayworks offers a series of clay workshops for children and adults alike.
Body and Soul Opening Reception The exhibition was juried by renowned ceramic artist Arthur Gonzalez and explores the depth of expression in contemporary figurative ceramic sculpture. The exhibition features artists who use the figure as a whole or fragmented, realistic or abstract, utilizing traditional and non-traditional surface treatments and materials. Try It! Hand-Building Workshop - Experiment and explore in one of these workshops for adults 16 + who are curious about clay. Participants will learn the basics of hand-building while having fun in our relaxed classroom environment. Students will decorate finished pieces using commercial under-glaze and glaze. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for drying and firing of finished work; completed work may be picked up at our Mt. Washington gallery. Ages 16 - Adult. BLACK CHERRY PUPPET THEATER
Puppets in the Garden Watch the finest puppeteers from Baltimore and beyond perform in Black Cherry’s performance garden and make your own puppets to take home throughout the afternoon. In case of rain, performances will be held inside the Black Cherry Theater.
